PARTNER WITH US
Public and private organizations and coalitions can partner with NAAAPI to provide free copies of the Breathe Free booklet to their members, clients, patients and customers. As Breathe Free partners, organizations are granted permission to print booklets locally. The layout of the booklet includes a quarter-page for local taglines and as well as the entire back cover for for use in promoting local tobacco prevention and control programs.
As partners, organizations will be asked to provide a signed statement indicating:
In return, public and private organizations and coalitions that agree to partner with NAAAPI on the Smokefree Air campaign will receive free access to files needed to print the booklet (web site or CD) as well as Breathe Free public service announcements.
The Breathe Free booklet was developed by NAAAPI under a grant from the Office on Smoking and Health (OSH) of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and The American Legacy Foundation. The initial draft was reviewed by African American focus groups around the country. This booklet complements other clean indoor air programs and smoking cessation programs designed for African Americans, such as Pathways to Freedom and Not in Mama's Kitchen.
